Xenomorph - variation

Just a variation on a Xenomorph. One of the newest comic arcs for Aliens introduces a new type of critter with similar colouration to this one actually. Makes me wonder what can trigger the variations. Back when the films were made, a toy company made loads of Aliens based on different animals, i.e. if an embryo incubated inside a bull, it would look different to one incubated inside a human, etc.

Me being an evolution and genetics fan, it was just intriguing x3 *is obviously a nerd*
