Original Characters - Bird Spirits - Crow

When I was first trying out my experiments and loosening up with anatomy and form, I talked it over with two of my buds - and

They both asked for some bird spirits of their own, so here's the first of them - a Crow spirit. These are the antithesis to the Owls, they are grimey, filthy, scruffy, mangey and generally 'darker' than the Owls. They are most definitely malign spirits in this world. Under Crows also come magpies and magpie traits, such as hoarding items. Of course, in a spirit world, they ultimately want to hoard Souls.

Under no circumstance should you ever trade with a Crow. The trade will never be fair.

[Tried using texture again to spice up the vector work, might have gone a bit ott on the background with the bricks, but aside from that, fairly happy with the result. Still teetering on that fine line of using light and shadow, this is more toned down than the Goeldi piece. Anything working? Not working?]
